Look, I speak to dead horses PERSONALLY; I have the gift of connecting with them as a spiritual medium almost every day- let me tell you, they are always inspiring me to change my corrupt life for the better.
Their souls are all at peace- racing was their one purpose and pleasure in life. All day long they jump & frolic among the clouds. The thought that people bet hard-earned money on them to win makes them smile & shiver with pleasure, safe forever in their own version of heaven.

Your reading comprehension skills make me sick, as I never once stated nor implied I said it's okay to do what these people did.
All kinds of animals that we eat also have uses besides food, so that same argument could be made.

@xxxFaustusxxx No, its not a tragedy. but the thing is, there stealing these horses from loving owners and killing them in unruly conditions. Horses have other uses besides food, So why eat them, anyway? You make me sick saying its OK to do what these people did. BTW its illegal and wrong to kill and animal like this.

Also the prices are correct. Horse meat is considered a delicacy in France, Belgium, and Japan. The slaughtering houses that WERE in the U.S. were all Belgium owned. They will pay more for the pound for it then filet mignon. What you eat is up to you. But these animals belonged to someone else. It's thievery, and if they are caught they should be punished. Personally I hope some farmer catches them on his property, and they meet two bullets to the head. That's the only way it will send a mesage.
