Sasami is the cousin of Tenchi?

In the OVA they are brothers! You can verify this by watching the first episode when Misao says:

-Your brother is very popular, Sasami?

Now, in relation to the Pretty Sammy which was shown on TV (Magical Project S) Sasami has no brother.
