Children of God won't die. Deth is just door for us. Open door to eternal life with God. I look forward to it, I'm not afraid.

my Mum said this song would go well with what is happening to poor Christchurch. (I countered with Japan, too.)

I tell you what it's a bit weird to be listening to this song on your CD, then go and start listening to it on YouTube as well :P This is a Really Cool Song! Beauty WILL rise, no matter what our "lot". Plus, having a relationship with our LORD helps!!!!

life is so hard sometimes and I've been through a lot and this song describes how life is out of all the ashes we get buried in the Lord come through and makes beautiful things he always makes beautiful things and makes beautiful things out of us if we know him as our Lord and Savior

@karibear75 Thank you for having the courage and strength to go on in this world with a loud like that. Many people lose children, but few are able and willing to carry on regardless. God has a plan for you, so remember to use YOUR pain and loss as a weapon against the enemy that caused it. Ask God to make it into somthing good, and you'll stand in awe at what he does. God bless, your in my prayers.

Today at school this song was constantly running through my mind and all I could remember of it was "Out of these ashes, beauty will rise" So I just sang the same thing over and over again. :)
I know the pain that the Chapman family has gone through...my beautiful baby boy tragically drowned a few months ago. I'm thankful for my other children, my family and friends. But most of all I'm thankful for the courage and strength that only our Lord Jesus Christ can provide in order for me to continue living. Thank you Steven Curtis Chapman for using your grief and loss to write such a beautiful, uplifting song.

I also heard this for the first time at the Harvest Crusade. A week later I found out my friend died. Then I heard this song again on the fish a few days later. This song basically gets me through those moments of doubt when I just don't get it, when I'm lost. It's going into my grief playlist.
