This song is so emotional. I can relate to it very well...its as if its telling my story...it brings me to tears.

this is the version i had on cd, first version i heard and still my favorite.. somehow feels more emotional to me..
great song whenever i wanna clear out my tear ducts, cant help but see myself as the fallen angel, the protagonist as my lovely wife and the song as the story of what almost happened

This song makes me think of Michaela. She was my first friend in junior high, and she had mental problems. I stuck with her through it all and visited her in tough times, and what does she do to repay me? She runs away to another state and forgets all about me... I helped her back to her feet, and she left me behind...
The last time I heard from her was a phone call. I'd called her & she'd happily babbled on about how her life was amazing now.
Then she promised, "I'll call you!", and hung up.
