I think its great that this kid knows so much already about survival gear and camping gear. The youth of today couldnt survive outdoors with a coleman stove and a butane lighter with a manual and even a camper trailer let alone flint starter a knife.. Way to go dad your teaching him good. Sorta makes me have hope for the next generation.

It is supposed to burn a small can of alcohol gel. A Esbit German Army stove can burn a trioxane bar and is pocket size. I used to use a Boy Scout aluminum pot now I use a stainless pot (much heavier). Light aluminum pot may melt if used on campfire.
