A video showing a few of the Case knife patterns available. I wanted to show some of the different knife patterns and their sizes in comparison to each other. More a video for new collectors or those looking to get into collecting Case knives. Shot with my Nikon D90.

  • have you checked out the back pocket?

  • @SharpStuff112 I haven't had one in my hand yet, but I hear GREAT things about them. One of these days I'll get ahold of one.

  • nice knives..thank you..for my german folks a translation = eine übersetzung: case knives = käse messer ;-)

  • @uddoss Thank you! And thanks for watching. :)

  • @chopperguy801 I really like that cheetah knife how much do they go for and where can I get one?

  • @threetwentynine The Cheetah pattern is currently a "vaulted" pattern meaning that they are not producing any at the factory right now. They have been "vaulted" since 01/01/08. I believe they are due to come out and they will be producing them again very soon. Prices vary with different handle materials, and sellers but you should find one for around $50 and up. Thanks for watching!

  • excelent video helped a lot i think i will try the trapper lock

  • @shaggyusm26 I do not know what the actual class of their steel in each is. I believe it is a proprietary makeup in each exclusive to them. As for there being a difference in quality between CV and SS . I think quality may be the wrong word, as they are both excellent steels but each exhibits different properties. Many prefer the older CV and claim it takes an edge better than the SS. I do know that they use some of the other steels in different knives, like 154CM in all their Slimlocks.

  • Maybe you can answer this question as well. I know the difference in quality between Chrome Vanadium and Case's Surgical Stainless steel. My question is, do you know what the actual class of steel Case uses (i.e. 440HC, 154CM, VG-10, S30V, etc.)?

  • Case really does make beautiful pocket knives. Two of my favorite gentleman EDCs are my Case Medium Stockman (red bone pocket worn) and my Case Medium Congress (jigged green bone). The green bone in particular is beautiful because it looks so much like jade. I also have the small 6 1/2" leather Hunter (I use it as a steak knife when camping or to bring to work for lunch use). I want to eventually get a Russlock and a Trapperlock. The craftmanship is just wonderful on Case knives.
