That still don't make a wee bit of sense. You don't become a lifeguard to get a tan. Having a tan is just a side-effect of being a lifeguard.
Maybe if Timmy was an Albino tanning salon owner/employee, it would actually be a contradiction.

Because albino people are extremely susceptible to sunburns (not to mention skin cancer)... and thus would be an extremely bad candidate for a lifeguard.
