Albany Men's Soccer Falls to NJIT, 4-1, in Non-Conference Action

Midfielder Jack McVey scored two goals on three shots to lead NJIT to a 4-1 win over UAlbany in men's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Varsity Field. The Highlanders took a 1-0 lead just 27 seconds into the game as Pete Walker crossed the ball from the left side of the net, meeting Nils Warfving, who headed the ball into the far corner. UAlbany tied the game in the eighth minute on an Anthony DeSalvo goal. Christoffer Nisser crossed a pass from the right, and DeSalvo collected the pass to make a shot from eight yards out, slipping the ball past NJIT goalkeeper John Ricketti.
