I think I may agree with you here. I haven't really thought much about hell. I think it should be noted that there are other interpretations of what hell is like. For example, under one interpretation hell is simply a place outside of the kingdom of God. If it's bad it is so only as God is not in that place.

You have to remember that god is essentially throwing apart of himself in to hell as well.

Psalm_139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, you are there: if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there.

The only reason god would be in hell is bcuz I'm in hell. He fills everything and every place. So even if I'm in hell at least I'll know god is right there suffering with me.

But in the Holey bible it states that god is everywhere and that no man can hide himself from his presence. and why is he everywhere? Bcuz god breathed the the breathe of of life into Adam/atom and he became a living soul. In Ezekiel 18 it reads thus "all Souls are mine". All souls are his bcuz they came from/are him.

This is y 7th day advents and Jehovah witnesses don't believe in hell. In Ecclesiastes it states that on death all souls returns to god .

@DarkcIoud1111 thinking faux "bravery" will get you through an eternal night...boldness indeed. punished by God for a choice you made for yourself? not at all, He simply grants you to experience that choice...but now you're talking as though you DO believe in Him, as a sort of patsy that you can hold to some sort of standard. @DarkcIoud1111 i can tell you have forgiveness & compassion, that's why you do those good things, not because it was "raised" into you! it's a gift from God, who still blows sweetly through your outer courts! & that's why it grieves me how sad it would make you to watch it die. because in hell souls have the ability to feel sorry for themselves! but deprived of any friendship in a rough & tumble place (like i said, the spirit part of you is powerful!) the whole idea of caring for another fades!

@InnerMittenSignal I am actually a very forgiving person. I dont hold grudges, I forgive my friends and strangers when they wrong me, I never talk about people behind their back and tell the truth when asked because that is how I was raised. If not believing in God makes me a cold person, then I will accept my fate when the time comes. God gave us free will so we can choice not to believe in him, but I dont think he would punish us if we didnt pick the choice he wanted
