Chip (aka Joey) is an excellent actor and singer. Hildy (aka Kate) has also been acting for her entire high school career and is really good at comic roles.

my school is doing this musical and ours is MUCH better. we actually have a real car, not some cardboard and pipe contraption. and the actors can sing. and our girls are smart enough to wear lipstick that doesn't get all over the guys's faces.

I see that. Hildy is a tough role to play, in my opinion. I have the privlage of playing that role in about two weeks for my community theater group. It's hard to bring justice to such a lively character.
