@bradb3992 Since 1927 there's only been one banner placed in either one of those arenas in Illinois (51). Since 1958 Illinois has only won two National Titles period. The point of playing is to be the best the sport has to offer not "try to have the best half seasons." Since '58 Indiana has been the best the sport had to offer 17 times. Northwestern has won more Titles than Illinois since '58 in Girl's Lacrosse alone. Work on being the best in Illinois before you start crossing state lines.

Ahh.. that was a good one- then and now. I still look at Randle and shake my head at the player he should have become. Good defense, freakish athlete... No fundamental skills. If he'd developed any ability to shoot at all in his 12 years with the Illini (ok.. maybe not quite that long) he'd be in the NBA. He had Scottie Pippen potential. Shame.

Randle was was waste of space for the Illini. Him and Pruitt never had balls. Thank goodness they are both gone.

... Wow Indiana sure had some glory years in this period ... like '03 ... and '04 ... and '05, man were they good in '05 ... oh yeah, and I think they were ranked in '06 too. Man, it's not like they can only put together one good season every once in a while ever since Knight left or anything.
