  • @newflyer500 I WISH NFTA WOULDA LISTENED TO YOU BECAUSE I LOVED THE ORIONS WHEN I WAS A LITTLE YOUNGER AND NOW THEIR GONE

  • @newflyer500 NFTA DO HAVE LONG ASS LAYOVERS..AND MOST BUSES ARE RETIRING, NEW FLYERS ARE RETIRED, ORIONS I AND V HAVE BEEN GONE SINCE 2005, NABIS ARE RETIRING SLOWLY, I ONLY SEE VERY FEW NOW, AND NOVA CLASSICS ARE STILL RUNNING BUT THOSE ARE GOING SLOWLY AS WELL..GILLIG ADVANTAGE IS TAKIN OVER NFTA

  • @qwandiddy NO, GOT RID OF THEM IN 2005 FOR GILLIGS

  • If not for that the nfta would of been in a position to buy mci classics every year with a chance they would of remained in production longer. A lot of transit systems do what the nfta does. It was always my position that buses should be rebuilt every 6 years and kept running 18 to as much as 30 years. The mci buses are buses that can run 27 year with the right maintnance and rebuilds. The ttc does the best job when it comes to rebuilding buses. The nfta I would say comes in 3rd or 4th.

  • Their 1996 Nova Classics are probably still runnning. I remember when they first received them brand new. The thing about the nfta is their ridership was high on a lot of the trips, and they should of been in a position to make a lot of service increases, with ridership going up. A lot of time and money there is wasted on giving bus drivers lots of big 20 to 40 minute layovers. A lot of runs there they only work 6 hours and get paid 8. They call them gravy train runs.

  • What about their 1996 Nova Classics, They are my favorites but I do miss their 1992 MCI Classic and I dont know what happened to them, I was figured that they send them to canada for secondhand. And I was been told sadly that Rochester RTS is retiring their 1996 Nova Classics next year, what a shame..

Here in Chicago, PACE is slowly retiring our 1993 Orion Is, it is very shocking because we have the last orders of Orion 1s before it discontinued later 1993.
