Knoxville, Tn guitarist and audiologist Alfred MIllikan recounts the savagery as Maryville Sherrif's Department cruisers descended upon the performance of the MIllikan Helton Groove Project at a Children's Hospital benefit show last saturday. Fortunately no arrests were made, and eventually pictures were taken with the very nice police officer.

@spankysux Come on down to Blount County and tell this Officer to Fuck Off you TOUGH GUY! You need to go back to where you got your law degree and GET YOUR MONEY BACK! Dumb ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are so wrong...the law says..."especially" between those hours, so that means that it is enforced at all hours. YOU ARE A MORON!

slburk, i was the one that posted this video, the officer that showed up couldn't have been any nicer, took a picture with us. We were warned before we started playing that there was a grump that lives near the drive in that loves to call the police and complain. I posted this video to get a laugh so no need to take it seriously.

"The Party" is a reference to the Blount Republican Party. Evidentally, your music bothere the RIGHT person. The deputy was actually trespassin' and should have been told to fuck off. Trust me boss, I've been fighting this kind of bullshit for a long time now. FROM 7AM TO 11PM, YOU CAN BE AS LOUD AS YOU WANT.

What do you mean bullying someone in the party? you mean one of the girls that came up with the idea?
Wish we would have known about the ordinance. This was actually at 11:45 AM or so. I was just starting my solo in "Strange Brew" and looked up to see the deputy pulling towards the stage! She said that she couldn't believe someone would call them over a CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BENEFIT CONCERT that early on a Saturday morning. I sure hope it wasn't my solos that got the law called! hahahaha

Actually, you can play all you want as loud as you want in Blount County until 11PM. Siounds to me like another case of not only the cops not knowing the law but also a case of bullying some folks on behalf of somebody in THE PARTY. Too bad you couldn't have quoted their own ordinace to them.
