Perfect Dark - Maian SOS Perfect Agent 2:10 XBLA

A video of me achieving a time of 2:10:83 on Maian SOS on Perfect Agent on XBLA. This is the current WR.

I just had to redo my sorry 2:15 run for Maian SOS. I had a 2:13 PR that I didn't record and wanted to atleast get another 2:13. Never expected 2:10 though.

Slight strat change from the 2:13/2:15 run. I now cut the scene right away. If you go really quick for the beginning, you can get to the first lift right as it opens and the next lift will be wide open if you keep a fast pace. This doesn't happen everytime though. The level has different lift cycles and you have to wait for the right one.

By using this strat, I could lower the time by shooting the ship on my way to the 2nd elevator like the INSANE 2:02 WR for the N64, but this run was purely experimental and I did not expect to see the 2nd lift open which is why I didn't try it. Thankfully, I improvised and sat between the lift doors to prevent it from closing. I could easily see 2:07 being done with this strat, maybe a 2:06. I'll give it another go some day, but for now I'm very satisfied.

@SilentSputnik Yeah I never had that lift wide open like that before on this run so my adrenaline was through the roof and I botched the quick reload :(
