On Face The Nation this morning, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) defended his recent statement that he is fine with keep troops in Iraq for 100 years, saying "Americans aren't concerned" about troops in Iraq for the next 10,000 years. On Meet The Press, he also said he would support permanent bases in Iraq.
Hahahahahaha! Good thing that old man never became president, eh?

@apjlaw IF the last US combat troops left 1 year ago when you posted this comment. Why have 3 US service members died due to hostile fire in the month of November 2011?

Iraq is never going to be like what we have here. There will always be sectarian violence just like its been for hundreds of years if not thousands of years

America won't even live another 50 years maximum. Trust me all that hate they created is gonna backfire against them. You think the Iraqis, Palestinians or the Afghans or Somalis are gonna forget about the US ? When soldiers kill civilians, one member of that family is gonna pick up arms and fight.
The US has created a generation of freedom fighters in the East.
