Quel rapport ?

He's such an elegant man, and sounds just how I imagined! I loved Empire of Signs - the poetry and acuity of his observations are breathtaking.

You have to pronounce it " Bart ", with the french accent, you don't pronounce "es", the end of his last name is pronounced in french like the end of " Becke-tt " in english.

I agree with the French party: it's such a shame that anglo saxons keep on looking just at their inside (where empirism still reings) and neglect other kind of knowledge. But let me answer a question done before: who thought of Barthes (and Foucault and Levi Strauss and Derrida...): Robert Darnton, as far as I'm concerned, the greatest US historian, dead or alive. Ah, and don't forget Arthur C. Danto and his amazing point of view, much stronger than Chomsky's one.
