(please leave comments) On a Friday the 13th in 2004 SW Florida was struck by a small yet devestating hurricane. Cat 4 is a comprehensive 30 min. documentary of one family during that event. Part III includes community stories and a damage compilation set to Peter Gabriel's "Here Comes the Flood"

  • Thank you for documenting and posting your experience with Charley. I was living between North Fort Myers and Punta Gorda when Charley came. It's a day I will never forget, much as I'd like to.

  • Sorry Warner decided to be to selfish to allow your story to be told; excellent story.

  • nice vid i was in a cat 5 once i had to depend on everything to start new :(

  • who the hell is WMG and why did they screw with this video???

  • This is the best video I have seen about Charley. I was in Port Charlotte at the time. My family was lucky we only had minor damage compared to many people in town, but it was heartbreaking to see the town I grew up in destroyed. I was lucky enough that the university I was to be starting school at in the fall allowed me to move in to the dorms early and get out of Port Charlotte a week agter the storm. Thank You for making this video.

  • awsome video!! im a hurricane andrew survior we lived where the worst part came accross in south dade coutny so i can relate to alot of that. but yea very nice video

  • Excellent documentary. I moved from Tampa to Iowa 7 years ago and thankfully, we never experienced this personally, but I can totally relate to the anticipation and fact that there's no way to ignore what 'may' happen. We had some close calls and everyone went into safe-mode with boarding windows a couple times...then I noticed a sense of complacency. Always take to proper precautions. Looked like you guys did the best you could. I hope you never have get do another story like this!

  • This is an excellent documentation of Hurricane Charley.

  • i absolutly HATE those hurricanes, i live in florida and thankfully, we weren't hit so bad. i live in orlando and i was fine though. thank god. i feel bad about the other people though. - Natalie

  • as devestating as the destruction was..some of your footage made me homesick.
