This is a Rohr. I'm 200% sure. Rohr's make a distinctive high-pitch noise when they accelerate.

Even with a full car, that's still loud, actually going beyond the limits of the speaker (that's why it has that fuzz in the sound).
I ride Metro daily, and even at Metro Center during rush hour, that thing's still really loud.

Nope! Those are Rohrs. The Bredas that are still original have brown rubber handrails on the seats, and the rehabbed ones have the new interior.
