A young man stands on a lonely shore. Unsure of where he is and how he got there. In his memories, he hears the dreadful sounds and see the appalling images of trench warfare. Alone, and haunted, he explores his surroundings. Unable to connect with the reality in which he finds himself, he remains locked in a prison of memory and loss. Held, in dreadful solitude, in a world he no longer recognizes.

thanks - glad you liked it. We shot the modern footage in a single day -- it took much longer to get the historical footage. It seemed relevant given the mess in Iraq, especially the final poem "A Soldier's Declaration".
