What value has life after death if you do not believe in life after death?

Christians value life more than many others, that is why they oppose abortion and euthanasia.

Family values are values that promote life and order. i.e. a good health system maintains life, and respect for authority restores order. I believe most Atheists, Muslims and Buddhists believe the same. That is why their family's should receive the same legal privilege.

Hi Mike,

Family values encourage the strength of families and discourage families from falling apart. Ie. easy divorce is not a family value because it can make it easy for families to split up for no good reasons. Child endowment from the goverment is a family value because it reduces the economic stress on families, removing a common cause of the breakup of families. Other issues fit into the family values paradigm. Now, if an atheist or buddhist or Muslim share these values, fine.
