there is not alot of k swaps like u suggest..1 out of every 5k honda r k swapped id guess..it doesnt hurt to be different ur right..but then y stick with the sohc because i can tell u this right now ..theres 5k sohcs to every kswap

I think being different can help.
Everyone is running a K series or B18C5R so if you do the same then you are in the same boat.
Nobody can tell the difference between your ride and the other the 1000s of other Civics with K or B18 motors.
You would've done better suggesting an H22 swap. Everyone drops an H22 in accords cause lets face it is an easy swap because of the similar config of the stock SHOC motor.

Not sure what makes you say that but it is street legal.
The guy drives it daily.
Has airbag suspension so he raises it up.
Headlights, DOT tires, taillights, low impact bumpers, turn signals, catalytic converter = street legal.

He was showing again this year at nopi. I happen to like the civic, its very original. M5's arent what they are cracked up to be. The ones that hate the most, are usually the ones that are jealous. This civic is tastefully done, and I dont say that because im a female, I say it because its truly original, something you dont come across anymore these days. So quit you're hating, geez. Dont like it? Dont look at it. Not a hard concept.
