A tribute to Hughie Thomasson, recorded at BB Kings, New York City 11/07. (One of THE best places to see a show in NYC!)

Long live the Florida Guitar Army!

  • Hughie, like Danny Joe Brown, was one of the greats of Southern Rock. GG&HT is THE definitive Southern Rock jam song, and deserves as many if not more accolades than Free Bird for defining WHAT the genre of Southern Rock is all about. Fly on, Hughie, fly on. May your tides forever run high and the grass be green.

  • RIP, and thanks for one of the best Songs.
