http://www.facebook.com/BazuraProject ABC2 presents THE BAZURA PROJECT, a new six-part comedy/entertainment series about Australia's number one, non-sports-related pastime -- the movies -- premieres Thursday, September 29 at 9pm.

THE BAZURA PROJECT gets down and dirty with the movies to look at how the likes of violence, sex, money, profanity, drugs and fame are shown on the big screen. Presenters Shannon Marinko and Lee Zachariah will delight, disgust, probe.

The series also stars Kat Stewart as the Entertainment Reporter, David Stratton as Lee's Therapist, and Shaun Micallef as the 'Robot'. Plus there are appearances by John Safran, Tony Martin, Julia Zemiro, Bryan Dawe, Stephanie Bendixsen, Francis Greenslade and Michael Ward.

  • I have watched 2 episodes of the Bazura project when it was on channel 31 it's actually really funny and interesting, good job lads you made it to ABC!!!!!!

    I love the show!

  • @RobWVideo "Space Ranger" box is most likely Toy Story

  • Have posted an HD version of this for anyone who'd like a closer look.

  • @Gunslingerelite a few more I noticed... Wizard of Oz, Snow White, One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Some Like It Hot, The Graduate, Picnic and Hanging Rock, This Is Spinal Tap, Braveheart, Juno and Pirates of the Caribbean.

I still can't figure out the cast iron radiator, cardboard box space helmet or the red sequinned hat.

  • Although the show isn't really that funny. It's just so damn interesting. Good work ABC.

  • I remember watching the Bazura Project back when it was on Channel 31. The format was solid, it was executed superbly, but it was only ever let down by its budgetary constraints. It was clear the show had fantastic potential, and it looks exactly like that potential has now been realised. Good job fellas, you utterly deserve every success this show brings you.

  • Show's def worth a look-see.

  • 360p? R u cereal?!

  • Ok, opening credits, deserve an award themselves. As for the show, bring it awn!!!
