    the truth is radio comms can be difficult at the best of times, (and with all the recent solar activity it can be more difficult) and iridium satcoms are VERY VERY expensive as well as the satellites used for everyday communication are usually very old weather satellites. The bandwidth is also limited and scientific data takes priority, then personal emails. I bet the crew is all busy now and has little time for interviews with everyone out there.
