Who wants to be pure? Pure water is tasteless. Pure people are boring.

Great video. Isn't it funny how people go around trying to fix problems that don't really exist but are only in their mind and they "think" exists? LOL. I used to be that way.
-
Our true nature is already pure...that's a very nice thought...now if only it weren't ludicrously difficult to simply be who we are. Ah well if not this lifetime then the next I suppose.

@ideasforfeeling .. I don't think so man.. He just has no other way to communicate this enlightenment for lack of a better word.. words are a compromise because you feel an inner concern for those who you see without peace of mind.. Adyashanti is a pure man. Let it be and do not judge.

Right on, fair comment.
I guess only he knows his own motivations but what you say is so often correct with these people.
Don't have to be that clever to set yourself up as a "teacher/guru", just have the right message, stay kind of separate from people (don't let them see the real you) and then just be consistent with that message.
It's more about being entrepreneurial than spiritual.

initially, i dunno how long - you just recognize that part which is always there, and on top of it you are constantly bombarded with all these worries and frustrations and such, but they quickly drop and you are back to that spaciousness. Then, you realize that spaciousness is always there, whether your mind is worried about something or not. The more you realize your true nature, the faster mind worries, beliefs, or w/e drop because they just arent fed energy. frequency of them also slows

My directions weren't as good as I thought they were. The description box for THIS video is to the immediate right of the video that is playing. It has the "date added", "subscribe to", and then below that is the "(more)" button. Much love.

"The beauty of Self is that it's not a matter of acquiring anything, being held in high regard, or being seen or noticed. It's a matter of being the intrinsic beauty of what you are, that inner blessedness. To experience that deeply, just let it sink in, not as an answer but as a question: Could it be that this blessedness is what I am?"--Adyashanti
