From which documentary is this from? I remember seeing in on TV

trolol umad?

@1607ag Honestly this explanation is not very convincing. There are other instances of the same thing with dylan.

@mshp74 yeah i guess people can joke about selling their soul to the devil yet it seems that's really not funny to be honest.
How do you think that the world of the occult operates?? preferrably in the dark, when no one is usually around, at a symbolical place...a crossroad symbolizes the intersection of the natural with the supernatural...
I know you will find unbelievable things if you scratch a bit more at the subject.

@woobagooba "pretentious" as in a synonym of "assuming" as in what dylan is assuming without being direct in his speech. Bilingual folks have a hard time employing words that seem to have the same root words yet may not have the exact same meaning in the intended language, I ask you excuse me.

@mshp74 Chek the Scorcese movie for the context. When he got back from NY to Minneapolis, his friends were surprised by his growing mastership, and somebody told: "it like he went at that crossroad".

@misterjesp Well, it's just an old blues legend, "Robert Johnson sold his soul", "Bob Dylan sold his soul", "John Doe sold his soul", do you realy think that people can sell their souls THAT WAY, at the midnight on a crossroad?
There are so many people who like to joke about the devil, and Bob is just one of them.
-
@misterjesp pretentious?
-
wow.... ask Ed Bradley about a sense of humor...Bradley interviewed this man and it was very pretentious and obvious what this dylan was talking about....
You are a blithering, numbskull idiot if you cannot pickup on dylan's underlying meaning, even if he is trying so hard to be as indirect as he can about the whole subject.

@MetrazolElectricity ok, i read his book and it says nothing of crossdressers at the crossroads. Damn you MetrazolElectricity! Foiled again!! I will never acheive the blessing of satan with shisters like you around to send me on wild goose chases! damn YOuuu!
@MeatTycoonDevious Bob invented trolling. Look at how many comments from people on various videos actually believe he sold his soul to the devil. Ridiculous. People have never seen a Bob Dylan interview. He's been messing with the interviewers since the 60's.

Judging by how they act on youtube, Sony would probaby try and sue the Devil if this was true.
