Insides Out-Jensquare Original

This song was born out of frustration in writing songs that don't capture exactly what I want to communicate. We try so hard to use art, music, language, etc., to turn ourselves "inside out" and it never seems to be enough, for me at least, to communicate what I want to say to the world. So here it is! Enjoy! I love your feedback, as always!

Woke up this morning singing this song instead
Of the one I was singing when I crawled into bed
It was late and I didn't know
If the words were right so I let it go

I'm told, "Here, paint the ocean as you view it in your mind."
Communication is so confusing with limitations, it's quite amusing
