In the beginning of the skeleton dance I thought it was dancing the song "single ladies" by beyonce. It looks like it is!! If you like it then you have put a ring on it.

Frank Paris created the first Howdy Doody puppet, but because of a liscencing dispute that went to court, the puppet was burned and no longer exists. The Howdy Doody character that everyone is familiar with was designed & created by L.A. Puppeteer Velma Dawson. Margo & Rufus Rose became the head puppeteers on Howdy Doody, and went on to create additional characters, and were the caretakers of these puppets, during the show, and long after the show had finished taping.

Thank you so much for posting these treasures. It is the thing that I love about youtube. Really, this is just priceless footage and brilliant artistry. Fascinating information about Howdy Doody and Buffalo Bob too.
