Drum Solo 1a, Groove Oriented by Jonathan Finch

I recorded this for my son. I don't play professionally anymore (haven't for over 18 years), but I'm kicking around the idea of finding a local band who might need a drummer for weekends. Just to get that feeling again.

I had a 1972 5 piece red sparkled Ludwig with Zildjian cymbals for Xmas when I was 8 years old. That set wooed the crowd and the girls when I played in the middle school jazz band 5 years later. Then I won 4 Drummer of the Year awards in high school as well. In the 80's, I toured with 5 bands in USA with it. These days, nobody plays the old school sounds of Gretesh, Ludwig, Rogers, Slingerland, and Sonor anymore because they want the new loud trashy sounds of DW, Pearl, Tama and Yamaha! Sucks!
