How do we get our doctor to take us seriously about fatigue. I am a 36 year old wife and mother and it's all I can do to just get out of bed, usually brushing my teeth is like climbing a huge mountain. Let alone taking care of my kids.....But I cannot get my internal medicine doctor to take my fatigue very seriously. I don't know what to do now. I have low vitamin D levels and my TSH is 3.28, I was told the TSH is normal.

you're on depression meds? that might explain a lot!

My thyroid tests came back normal. 5 months later I was in the hospital and they finally picked up hypothryoidism. On Synthroid I was told my blood test was normal but I was always cold with eyebrow hairs falling out. Why should I trust the adrenal tests? Got my own adrenal glandular from American Biologics. Getting off depression meds now.
Hi, Yes, I do recommend you get some blood tests done. Get your TSH, t3, t4 and reverse t3 done, as well as a methylmalonic acid, ferritin and vitamin k. Sounds like something is still not right in your symptoms. Good luck!
