Who has ever had an oil filter fail? Who has ever had an engine failure because of an oil filter?

There actually is a couple other differences between Napa ProSelect and Gold that you didn't mention. 1) The ProSelect uses a nitrile anti-drainback valve and the Gold uses a silicone anti-drainback valve which holds up better to temperature changes and doesn't become as brittle as nitrile. 2) The center tube on the ProSelect is a strait tube and the Gold has a spiraled center tube which helps to improve oil-flow and provides a little more structural support to the filter media.

@jones1inc Well I wasn't trying to be rude, I only had a brief time to watch and didn't have time to check the other comments. I also was not criticizing your video, only that there were a couple other differences (again, when I was on earlier I didn't have a lot of time to read comments). I also don't appreciate the condescending remark implying that I'm stupid about cars because I do beer reviews. I'll have you know my father was a mechanic for years and I'm going to college to become one.

What about the equivelant OE filter ? OE is almost always a safe bet over aftermarket. Especialy aftermarket parts for domestic cars.
