@Mattydh01 regards the comment you make in 'I should hate the simplistic nature of the song' surely you just listen to the end result without analysing the song measuring it by complexity?.

It would be arrogant to regard in this context the algorithmic complexity by measuring the length of the shortest phrase that is capable of producing a 'feeling' in a song.

I say keep it real keep it simple. A great song such as this could/should never be measured by number of chords in a song.

Sigh..feeling maudlin. Spent a load of time in Easy Street on my last visit to Seattle when I visited there...no bands on while I was there though. I should probably hate the simplistic nature of this song, but I can't help but love it. Classy!
