  • Nicely 70's schlocky. I heard this a werewolf flick but then reshoots were done to make it an alien film. Either way, the word is its tripe but it looks amusing. I think Casey Kasem is in this too, far out!

    Thanks for posting!

  • Oh it's definitely tripe! And suffers severely if watched in pan and scan. In fact, some of the most important action is invisible, as it's just off screen!! Maybe different in restored widescreen, but I think I'd rather eat tripe than watch this one again.

  • HAX!

  • 0;35 - 0:44 That's Paris Hilton's mom Kathy being strangled by the monster.

  • 'Laser-gun Eyes' would be a better name for this. Looks like they took 'laser' footage from Battlestar Galactica and superimposed onto the print.

  • I didn't mind this film. Reminded me of an episode of Kolchak.

  • Love how they always got well known classic character actors to star in this crap!

  • Pretty boring until the last ten minutes when the alien starts beaming the cops with his laser eyes!! Good cast wasted. A better film was a 1981 gem called WITHOUT WARNING

  • I saw this in the theatre with my brother & parents! It scared the hell outta me! I disagree with other posters, I think it's a pretty cool idea with well executed action & FX with a scary monster!

  • Kinda reminds me of Rawhead Rex.

By the way ..even though Im getting tired of remakes, they can remake Rex. Or maybe The Dark too. Those crappy ones can get the new millenium treatment.

  • @John22133 - To some degree, yes. But this is, as I said, BEYOND ridiculous. To be kind, it's a major cop-out.
