The 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition Public Reveal at Sebring

Members of GM's Corvette team were at the 12 Hours of Sebring on Friday, March 19, 2010 to unveil the new 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition. This new Corvette for 2011 features the Z07 package which includes the Corvette ZR1's Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, front splitter, 19/20" black wheels with Michelin PS2s, rear ZR1-style spoiler plus a custom interior.

This car looks AMAZING.. Soon as they unveiled it, my heart skipped a beat lol very mean-looking style, I love it. I saw that at Laguna Seca it almost matched the performance of the ZR1, and that's considering it has the same LS7 engine as the regular Z06 @ 505hp, compared to the ZR1's LS9 @ 638hp.. All thanks to the 300lbs weight reduction.. Still, both ZR1 and this Z06 Carbon are formidable cars =]

The ZR1 has a different motor and a different character, it's more of a GT car. The Z06 Carbon is more of a lightweight hardcore track car.
