I remember my nana used 2 regularly tune in2 this, in the 80s, but some of the acting was so stiff & rigid. The acting by that chap at the very beginning of this clip is appalling......I mean, could the viewers actually take this seriously, without falling about laughing???

I used to be addicted to this programme! Two reasons. I worked split shifts, so as it was on at 3.30 in the afternoon I could keep up with it. And there was Patricia! The most evil, conniving bitch it's ever been my pleasure to watch! I loved her!

Excellent series - and an excellent way to finish it. They even had 'The End' to confirm it! Not many series can do that nowadays...they just stop, ot leave some silly cliffhanger which will never be resolved.
I loved watching it in the 80's Mon-Fri every afternoon on YTV! Those were the days.

@p30dax at least GTV finished in 1991, you also got Young doctors, and shorltand street, Im sure GTV finshed ACP in 1998

@623058 yup - we could pick up both grampian stv where we lived. they started around the same time but grampian was always 3 days per week wheras stv was 2

@p30dax lucky you! us in central belt had it twice a week only from 84 - dec 92, then weekly until 30th Dec 1993. aroudn Ep910: it took another 18 months to broadcast 60 eps! last episode went out on July 1995 at 2.20am!
