  • what are you talking about, li ching is one of the fastest players out there. He moves side to side so fast. Maybe here he blocked a lot but you have to see a different match to see how good his footwork really is.

  • li ching's foot work? he is one of the fastest in the game. all he lacks is power and size.

  • @bartek4443 you NEED weight transfer to be able to move from left to right as far as physics is concerned, so how is it unrelated to footwork? timo DID transfer his weight judging from his body twist in that video, oh sang eun would be a player with alot less weight transfer. and the idea of sacrificing power isn't a world class strategy at all. world class players stick to their comfort zone, have you ever seen joo se hyuk playing two winged looping close to the table for agression?

  • @broro100 Weight transfer does not have anything to do with footwork. It's a matter of style. TImo Boll has very fast footwork but when he loops, he keeps his weight very even. Check out the video "forehand developments" on weitttube. Also, you can NEVER give up control of the table when playing Ma Lin, which is why he is keeping close and sacrificing some power because of that. Different players require different tactics.

  • @bartek4443 no he isn't, his body positioning sense is still a lower level compared to top 20 obviously, and his weight transfer side on is not impressive, slow compared to the chinese standard (ma lin, ma long). footwork is either about the speed of weight transfer or the sense of body positioning, if he can't position well enough then he needs speed to cover up, if he doesn't have the speed then he need positioning sense. he doesnt have any of these skills as far as footwork is concerned.

  • @dsouthpolekk please youtube "Li Ching vs. Ma Lin 2006 Asian Championships"before you made such superficial comment. There are plentiful other videos out there this is just the one i randomly clicked in after seeing blind comments successively

  • li ching should step out. he is not a good player... and he is ugly too.

  • 5 stars!!!!

  • yea li ching footwork not so good compared to the elite players

  • That wasn't a loop. It was a flick. An amazing one too.....
