The black storm clouds had been swirling around overhead for about 45 minutes when nature finally decided to let me have it: a deluge lasting about 15 minutes as I drove westward through the Ocala National Forest on St Rt 40.
What could ordinarily be driven at 65 mph was reduced to 30 mph as the sheets of rain beat down upon my car. Not much is discernible in the video aside from the vehicle in front of me on the road (which appears to be attempting to navigate through the rain without headlights on!).
At 2:44 into the video, the vehicle in front of me makes a right turn into the Juniper Run State Park Entrance. It's about the only discernible point of reference visible in the video.
The frequent sudden bursts of bright light are the surrounding lightning flashes.
i love to drive in the rain

I just been through a brief strong storm in Lake Worth today. Although it wasn't bad as this one, it was pouring for 10 minutes and although the wind was not that significant, it did get gusty like almost 30 MPH at some point. I seen some minor flooding but no more

I hit a storm similar to this when I was driving through the Ocala National Forest in early September. It was almost as bad as this. I was heading to Daytona Beach, and was just getting slammed by rain the entire time. I came from Ocala, where it was sunny and dry, and go to Daytona for a beach day, only to have it be shitty like this for most of the day.
