Hey Dave du geile Siech, spellsch guet
-
I working on learning Hebrew, but I'm not very good at it yet. I hope to get better soon. my parents can still speak Hebrew.
-
That was my problem too. Can you speak, read and write Hebrew. I took classes for over a year once a week. I got the basics down. It's hard to stay with it when you can't speak and hear it everyday. The woman teaching me is from Rishon Lezion, she lives in Ga now.

I probably would be thinking about making aliyah, but I'm not Jewish, so I can't.
-
Are you ever planning on making aliyah? or can you have dual citizenship in Israel and the US. I think you can.
-
Yeah, I'm on MySpace. I just love Israel, and I was born here, so it's in my blood.

So how was it you was born in Israel? Did your parent meet in Israel.

No, my parents met in college in the States, and came to Israel after they were married. They first came and were volunteers on a kibbutz, and they ended up living in Israel for 6 years.

How did they manage staying 6 years. You should be eligible for dual citizenship being born there. Maybe something to really check into before you come back. You have Ties there forever.

I don't really know how they stayed so long. I think the laws were not so strict then. I would be eligible for dual citizenship, if I was Jewish. But I do like having those ties!
