why does the dual saber always get split in half?

This was made back in 2004 and is a FAN-FILM, so sheath your 'cheap' remarks and allow a little leeway for the fact that commercial CG has obviously moved on a lot in 6 year.
Not aimed at you Ninjapenguin707, at least you've given a balanced review.

The fighting seems to have that fake feeling. there was lots of unnecassary flipping and spinning and i could name several times one of the opponents could have just turned and stabbed the other guy square in the chest. and... i'm not even going to talk about the darth sidious guy's acting... <.< but it's WAY better than the average "homemade" star wars fight. therefore i give you a solid 4/5
