@YIMMA996TT I appreciate the feedback, but I think you should watch the video - Fo what I need, this camera suits me perfectly. I know the ISO is shit, but I don't shoot at high ISO's. I also don't like the LCD screen on the D2X, but that teaches me to use histograms. The image quality from this camera suits my needs, and I'm over the moon with it. A good photographer can overcome the limits of his gear, and this teaches me excellent discipline in the field.
The immaturity wasn't required.

Don't get me wrong the D2X was a great camera in it's day. But don't forget you are buying technology. Digital camera's have moved a long way in the 7 Years since this camera went on sale. (Went on sale late 2004) I think I would have paid the bit extra cash and bought the D7000 TBH. Please don,t take this the wrong way. The D2X is a great camera.But the D7000 Is far better in every way. BTW The Nikon D40 is a little gem of a camera.I still use mine as a back up camera. I won't part with it!

Its a nice camera, but I wouldn't pay more than $500 for it.

i have a question regarding this camera somebody gave me one.

or is it a reader for the memory card?
i have to buy one and i want to know which is best

@skowal1988 To transfer the photos you need either a compact flash card reader or a Nikon UC-E4 USB Cable.
Let me know if you need any help in using this camera and I will be happy to give you a hand.

@chingy1788 AUD$1500 - AUD$500 cheaper than a D300s (D300 unavailable at the time of purchase)
