Seth and Katie on the final approach up the summit of Diamond Peak in Lassen Volcanic National Park, California.

The sun set on us about 3 times as we were climbing up, it was great.
I apologize for the heavy breathing, at 7900+ feet the air is kinda thin. And I'm kinda out of shape.

The "center" I zoom in on is the Kohm Ya-mah-nee Visitor Center at the Southwest entrance to the park. Katie and I both work there with the California Parks Company; which is why we are in our working uniforms. We went hiking right after work and were able to catch a mountain-top sunset :D

Once we got back to the car, we noticed a strong, but pleasant minty smell. Apparently, some of the plants we walked through were a mountain variety of mint. Our shoes were minty fresh!

  • Watching this video makes me realize just how very ADD I can be. I blame the altitude.
