Chevelle is an American rock band consisting of three members: Pete Loeffler (lead singer, lead guitarist), Sam Loeffler (drummer), and Dean Bernardini (bass guitar player, backing vocalist).
In this video, filmed on Independence Day, on the Fort Bragg Army Base in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, the band plays a song titled "Vitamin R", after witnessing a police officer (NOT MPs) shoot pepper spray at people in the crowd and expel a couple of guys. (To see the band's immediate reaction to this commotion, visit the following URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEikddmmd4Q )
The show in Ft. Bragg was free and open to the public. Chevelle is, at the time of this writing, still on tour (See tour dates on their official website, here: http://www.chevelleinc.com/events ). You MUST see them in concert. I think it's incredible that such a rich, powerful sound can be produced by just 3 people. If you agree, support them by buying their records!: http://www.chevelleinc.com/music/sci-fi-crimes
If you would like to see more, let me know and I might upload another video.
And if you were at this show, post and tell us about the experience!!!

"Vitamin R" lyrics:
Some will learn, many do
Cover up or spread it out
Turn around had enough
Pick and choose or pass it on
Buying in heading for
Suffer now or suffer then
It's bad enough, I want the fear
Need the fear cause he's alone
And he has become
He's alone
And he has become
(Chorus)
Well if they're making it (making it)
Then they're pushing it (pushing it)
And they're leading us along
The hassle of (hassle of)
All the screaming fits (screaming fits)
That panic makes remorse
After all, what's the point
Course levitation is possible
You're a fly, achieved and gone
There's time for this and so much more
It's typical create a world
A special place of my design
To never cope or never care
Just use the key cause he's alone
And he has become
He's alone
And he has become
(Chorus)
Well if they're making it (making it)
Then they're pushing it (pushing it)
And they're leading us along
The hassle of (hassle of)
All the screaming fits (screaming fits)
That panic makes remorse
(Bridge)
Over and over a slave became
Over and over a slave became
Over and over a slave became
Over and over it's slave
(Chorus)
Well if they're making it
Then they're pushing it
And they're leading us along
The hassle of
All the screaming fits
That panic held before
Well if they're making it
Then they're pushing it
And they're leading us along
Like the cancer
All the screaming fits
And their panic makes remorse

@minderfist A civilian police officer pepper-sprayed people in the pit. The band's reaction is in the video I linked to in the description. You can also search for Chevelle + Ft. Bragg or Chevelle + pepper spray to watch some videos (recorded by others) of the pit and MPs removing people from the crowd.

Well i spoke to a friend of mine that works with mps. She showed me an email that was going out to the chain of command of the mp units. Informing the chain of command of the rediculous force that was being used. The mps pride themselves on being distinct, any mp will tell you that. So what i say is: fuck mps.

@artey1981 When you wrote "the ridiculous amount of force that was being used", did you mean in general or just at the event on Independence Day?

Sorry for the error and thanks very much for the correction. In the last video I posted, I was very careful not to mention who did the spraying because, as you can tell, I couldn't see it from my location; but since just about everyone who responded initially to the video said that it was the military police, I slipped up and made an assumption. I've edited the desc. of this video to correct it and emphasize the MPs' non-involvement. Thanks, guys, for your comments.
