Does anybody have a scanned copy of the paper used to make the lit messages, or know where it can be downloaded? Thanks!

What a great model this was! I had built of these when I was a kid in the 70's. It was really fun to build and play with. It ate D batteries like crazy. Revell did a great job on this. Thanks for the memories.

I grew up in the 70's near Akron Ohio so I got to see the real blimp occasionally and oh, I remember the model also.

I have it, somehow, and I wasn't even ALIVE in the 1970s

@BammerD Try Ebay. It's a FUN build.

The first day of construction focused on the display stand. The second day was the aluminum envelope halves & nose & tail cones. Third was spent sealing up the engine nacelles with squadron putty, and painting all the white detail parts. Fourth began the assembly & decal process. The only parts I cemented into position were the prop discs, air scoops, and the portside horizontal fin.
Yes it is noisy and does have high power consumption but it does work really well for a '70s era design!

yes! It took longer to paint and decal it than it did to build and wire it!

Yep the waterslide decals were still good despite the kits age!

Try E-bay!II think they go in the 20-30 dollar range.I lucked out and found the un-built kit at a flea-market for 6 bucks!It was missing some parts so I went to the Airship Forum and obtained them there!
