  • Benny Davis is one of the members of Axis of Awesome. Axis of Awesome is a group who first started performing together at Sydney University's Arts Revues and Theatresports competition. This version of the Four Chords Song was first performed by Benny Davis at the 2006 Arts Revue.

  • Axis of Awesome's version is awesome, but they are not the first people to notice that kind of similarity in some many songs. It was noticed long ago. Check out Rob Paravonian. He did a Pachabel Rant a couple years ago that touched on that exactly.

  • @rpalena rob paravonian based his off pachelbell which is !-V-iii-vi-IV-I-IV-V and songs like Hook by Blues Traveller and Vitaminc C were based on that
