@latinogangsta07 NPD has an ESU unit (Emergency Response Unit). Usually 2 or 3 trucks per shift with 2 officers. They handle everything from EDPs to MVAs and everything else. ERT (Emergency Response Team) is NPD's "Swat Team". It is NOT staffed at all times, in the event of an activation any qualified ERT members on the street respond to ERT HQ or to the scene depending on the circumstances. Not all ESU members are ERT members.

Thats so stupid!! If it was an escort the the police unit would be in front to clear the road so so the ambulance wouldnt have to stop, not the other way around. I hate it when people 'escort' this way.

When escorting ems to the hospital with an edp, they stay to the rear of the bus to have a better visual.
