Left 4 Speed 2 custom menu movie for Left 4 Dead 2!

I converted the new Left 4 Speed 2 parody into a custom menu for Left 4 Dead 2. The volume might be a little quiet in this youtube video, but it should be just about right in the game. Go watch the full video and give good comments to the creator at:

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS (also included in download):

1) Download the menu.

2) Go to your ...\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\media folder.

3)Backup all the movies that say l4d2_background01-05.bik. They're five movies total. I just changed the extension on all of them to .bak

4) Extract your new l4d2_background01.bik to the same folder.

5) Copy that file 4 times, and rename the new ones:

l4d2_background02.bik
l4d2_background03.bik
l4d2_background04.bik
l4d2_background05.bik

Sorry, I would have just included the new ones to make it easier, but the download would have been way to big.

6) Go to your ...\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\sound\music\l4d2 folder.

7) Rename these files (just sort by type to make it a lot quicker):

l4d2_c1_pc.mp3
l4d2_c2_pc.mp3
l4d2_c3_pc.mp3
l4d2_c4_pc.mp3
l4d2_c5_pc.mp3

TO

l4d2_c1_pc.bak
l4d2_c2_pc.bak
l4d2_c3_pc.bak
l4d2_c4_pc.bak
l4d2_c5_pc.bak

Or, just MOVE the .mp3s to a backup folder entirely. The idea is to get rid of them so the game won't play the standard main menu background music along with the video.

8) You're all set!

when i extract the file it dose not have the name  l4d2_background01.bik

what i get is Left_4_Speed_2_Menu_Replacemen­t.rar. is it supposed to be like that?

It's probably extracting it into a folder named the same as the archive its extracting from. Not sure what you're referencing, you might need to be more detailed.

Aeroripper, help me. When i click the DL link, it wants me to press download of course, but when i click, it refreshes the site! WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG ??!?

You have to click "click here to start download". I just tested it and it lets me download. Try it again, and make sure any pop up blockers aren't blocking the download. Also try using firefox if you're not already.
