Wasted: A Love Story Chapter 5

Sidney's POV (2 Days Later)

"Sidney, you don't want to go in there." Taylor, my little sister, said, trying to block my path into my living room. I bought this house because it was close to my family, now I'm second guessing the decision.
"Why not, Tay? What did you break this time?" I asked and she crossed her arms over her chest.
"I didn't break a thing!" she protested and I shook my head, walking past her. E! News was on and I looked back at her confused.
"Teen Queen, Megan McKay seems to finally be moving on from Sid the Kid with yet another hockey hero." The TV announced and I turned back to see 2 pictures flash onto the screen, one of Megs and one of Taylor Hall.
"The pair have been spotted together multiple times in the past 2 days around McKay's native Edmonton where Hall now plays for the Oilers. What do you think of Miss McKay's latest boy? Or will this one last long enough for us to find out?" The pictures went away and the story changed. Well fuck.

(4 Days Later)

I went onto my laptop and google'd Megs, just to see if anything else about her and Hall came up.

MINI MCKAY AND JUSTIN BIEBER ARE OVER?

I looked at the link shocked before clicking it for the full story.

One thing you might not have known about Andy Morrison, she has a band! Done With Dolls has been a side project of her sister, Megan McKay's for some time now. It features Morrison as well as a few of her friends from a rural Alberta city, Slave Lake. They've been recording with McKay for some time and their first single, It's Over, debuted on the Canadian network Much Music last night.
Shortly before, Morrison was asked why they picked the song. Her response? "The song is a pretty strong message to someone who was pretty important in my life. I'm a lot like my sister in the way that when someone treats me unfairly, I don't sit down and take it. The people my sister and I wrote this for needed to learn that."
This paired with the fact Justin and Andy haven't been seen together in almost a month makes her message pretty clear. Sounds like Andy's given Justin the boot. What do you think about this?

(2 weeks later)

"SIDNEY!" Taylor yelled running into the kitchen at our parents' house.
"What is it, Tay?" I asked, turning away from the conversation I was having with my dad.
"You HAVE to come see this." She insisted, grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the kitchen into the living room. The TV was on and it was pretty clear E! News was on.
"Looks like Megan McKay is following her sisters lead. After only 3 weeks, Hall and McKay are through. We all knew it wouldn't last long, but we gave it a little more credit than this. It's safe to say, when Andy Morrison said her sister and her co-wrote Done With Dolls' debut hit, It's Over, about 2 people in their lives, Hall was one of them. McKay, who's currently in Halifax with Brad Paisley on their This Is Country Music tour."
"Can we go?" Taylor asked, trying not to act too excited Megs is only half an hour from here.
"You want to go?" I asked and she nodded, smiling up at me. I sighed and pulled out my phone, doing something I haven't done in almost a year.
