Also this is not a secret coming,Every person alive on earth will see Jesus in midheavens and the "trumpet" sound of archangel.For the last 4 millenia Jews celebrated trumpet festival annualy,withoutt knowing it's meaning.Trumpet festival that comes on 1 st day of 7th month (leviticus23) represent rapture ,the trumpet that high priest blows signifies the trumpet the archangel will shout at rapture.

@StJames37 Have you read the rest of the scriptures,after tha "shout of the archangel" -it says Jesus will appear in mid heavens(not that he will descend on earth) and that believers who are dead will ascend first,then those of us who are alive.While in Revelations and Jude.1:14-15,says Jesus will come with 10000s of saints and execute judgement and set up his millenial kingdom.This is the teaching of christian church from the time of apostles.I have never heard of John Darby -cont.

@alnimrod84 1 Thess 4:16-17, mentions 'the shout of an archangel'. If this is the 'secret' rapture, why does St Paul call it a shout??? Obviously, he is teaching the exact opposite! When Christ returns, it will be the end - and the beginning of eternity. There will not be a 'secret rapture' but rather an obvious Second Coming.
