Unexpected ep. 9

Justin's POV
I can't believe I bumped her lips. She was a surprisingly good kisser. Why'd she run? I'm not a jerk. Oh well, who needs a nerd like that. 'I do, you need to be her friend' one side of me said 'Don't, you're too good for nerds like that' 'Shut up.' I'm insane. I went to the next class and saw Sydney in the hallway. I turned the other way when her 'possy' was right in front of me, blocking the exit.
"Hey! Justin, why the hell did you kiss that nerd?"
"I tripped."
"I know you did, but you kissed her for like two minutes."
"I'm not in the mood to talk to you right now." I told her and pushed past her possy. I went out of the school since it was the end of the day. My phone was buzzing.
"Hello?"
"Hi sweetie, one of our neighbors grandparents is dying and we need to help her from being upset. Can you come with me?"
"Fine." I replied. I could tell she was smiling. I walked into the house and changed into something else. I put on some white basketball shorts and a white shirt. I put on my tennis shoes.
"Grab your swimsuit too, Justin." she said. I did as I was told and put it in a bag. I grabbed my phone and realized I had a text.
*text*
Sydney: Why are you acting so differently?
Wow, she needs to realize that I don't feel like talking right now. She needs to leave me alone. I walked up to my mom.
"We driving?"
"Yupp." she replied smiling. I don't know why she is so happy. I got in the car and 'Just the Way you Are' was playing. I started singing along. I got another text.
*text*
Unknown: Hi.
Justin: Who are you?
Unknown: I think it's best if I not tell you until you come to my house today.
Justin: So you're the neighbor?
Unknown: Yeah.
Justin: please tell me who you are.
Unknown: ...
*end of text*
We finally got to the house and I rushed out of the car. I ran up to the door and knocked. A man who looked like he was in his thirty's opened the door. I smiled. He smiled back.
"She's upstairs waiting, Justin. But be careful. She's been crying so try not to upset her on accident."
"Aight, thank you sir." I replied and went up the stairs. I saw the door with her name on it. I didn't bother to look at the name and opened the door to see a girl crouched up on the bed with her hair a mess and tissues all over the room. She looked up with her tear stained eyes. Her makeup all smeared. Wait a minute. That's Pixie. She's the one who spilled her lunch all over me, made me drop my books in the hall and the one who I bumped lips with today.
"Hi." I said. "Can I come in?"
"You're the stupid neighbor?! You're not gonna help me, you're just going to fake it."
"I won't. Can I come in?" I asked, smiling. She nodded and I walked in and sat down next to her. She put her head on my shoulder, sniffling. I felt her hot tears run down her cheeks, as if they were my own, and down my shirt on my shoulder. I felt like crying too. She may not be like Sydney, but she's okay. "Wait, so you were the one texting me?"
"Yeah." she replied. I looked down at her and she looked up. "You don't have to stay here."
"I want to."Penny's POV
Why me? Why today? After being embarressed in front of everyone by bumping into Justin and accidently locking lips with him, and Sydney probably going to kill me because I 'stole her man' who was barely her's in the first place, now my grandma most likely is about to die any second now. My life is a living hell, but it would be worse if my friends weren't my friends anymore which didn't happen, but I think I just jinxed it. Oh, and not to mention that the last time I even saw my mom, was two months ago and I miss her.
"Pixie, are you doing better?" he asked, wrapping his arm around me in a friendly way. I didn't reply and he got the hint that I didn't want to talk.
Justin's POV
I looked at her wall. A bunch of quotes. 'Silence is a girl's loudest cry, if she isn't speaking, her heart is too tired for words.' That one probably is how she feels. I knew what would cheer her up. I got up and turned off her tv.
"Why'd you turn it off?"
"Because. I have my swimsuit and it's hot out." she smiled.
"Get out, I'm gonna get dressed." I nodded and got out of the room. I waited outside. She finally came out in her swimsuit. I went into the bathroom and got dressed. I came out and saw her. DAMN. She was wearing a silver swimsuit. The top had a hook in the middle shaped like a circle. "You okay?"
"D-damn." she smiled and rolled her eyes. She walked away and I followed behind her. I felt the pool water and so did she. It feels so nice. I walked over to her and she splashed me. I started laughing so hard that I splashed her back. She was laughing and she pushed me in. We were having a splash war. I fell in... or... scratch that.I was thrown in by Pixie. She threw me in. I grabbed her in my arms and pulled her in with me. We went underwater and I saw her light brown hair flowing, as if she was an angel. I went back above the water instead of under. She followed and she smiled.
