Guys, really? There are obviously things between DC and Sykes that we will never ever know, and probably don't need to know. They are no longer making music together, so it matters not. I think both guys are total musical phenoms. Yes, DC has lost some of his range, but c'mon, the guy IS 60 years old! He is easily one of the greatest vocalists and songwriters of all time, and his time with Sykes was quite fruitful, both guys deserve credit. GTBB, and Forevermore are the best WS albums since LH.

@therealuptheass well.. doubt first of all that you are good friends with sykes. Sykes has said in an interview that his favorite vocalists are glenn hughes and david coverdale (happened to be my favorites as well ;D). about DC not writing music, that is BS! Slide it in, dont break my heart again, guilty of love, crying in the rain, all these songs MUSIC AND LYRICS written by DC. there are many other songs as well, on the slide it in album for an example.

I'm actually good friends with John Sykes. On many occasion he's said that Coverdale is a talentless cunt that surrounds himself with decent musicians in order to make good songs. Yet, he never mentions that in interviews. He's like Ozzy Osbourne minus the brain damage.

John Sykes is the only one who can ever bring Whitesnake back. He was the man behind the curtain that made it all work.

the new WS generation is no match to what the band used to be. they lack the chemistry... i was quite disappointed with the new line up on stage.

it is just I see you on all my favorite videos bashing someone, instead of on the sykes videos saying you love him..

you go back liking syks, he is great, and I like coverdale, he's great.
